Things To Do With Kids In Portsmouth
Finding things to do with the family can sometimes be challenging. Children can often become bored of the same old places so a bit of variety can go a long way to keep things exciting for them. Especially in the holidays, when all the usual play zones are full to the brim, you may struggle to think of something a little different to entertain the little monsters.
Of course, it’s good to let off some steam and have a run around, but just as important is letting off the gas and get creative! So, we have taken the time to show you three things you can do with kids in Portsmouth that you may not have considered before.
MAKE
At MAKE, in Fratton, Portsmouth, you will find a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. MAKE is a charity designed to help people with learning disabilities and autism so money raised here will go to a great cause. The building is spacious and warm with so much to see and do.
There is somewhere to sit and relax in Quarry Cafe, serving hot food and drinks. The portions are very generous and very well priced. And to top it off they have cake!
You can relax on the sofas and sit and read if you want some serious chill time.
Upstairs is an extremely well-equipped crafts room with space for about 20 children to craft and design anything they can imagine. I even made a ship out of wood and sewing bobbins!
MAKE also host events which can be found online for even more to do!
Don’t want to be inside? MAKE also have a farm which can be visited if you want some fresh air too.

Baby prints are a popular activity too. Memorialise those special moments together.
